Last year when Chuck (EIC of GamingNexus) and I attended the
Gamerscoreblog Road Tour in Chicago, one of the bits of news to come out of the meeting was that the Hotel Sax (it was still the House of Blues at the time) would be getting an
Xbox 360 lounge for it's guests. Well, here we are about a year later and
The Studio at Hotel Sax Chicago is now open, but it is much more than just the Xbox 360 experience. The Studio is a complete Microsoft experience that is centered around the Xbox 360, as it has five Elite consoles hooked to flat-panels throughout the facility. In addition, The Studio also boasts five Zunes, loaded with music and movies, two HP laptops connected to the internet and a PC based home entertainment setup featuring Vista Media Center.
However, the
Hotel Sax Chicago isn't cheap, as the place is loaded with plush amenities and a basic room runs around $350 a night during peak times and $160 a night during off-peak (read dead of winter). The Studio at Hotel Sax Chicago is open from 4 p.m. to Midnight every day and is free to registered guests of the hotel.
