I have a drum set in addition to Rock Band, so I don't pretend to be playing drums in RB. I just play it for fun. So I really don't need a lifelike drum set for a game.

This is an actual electronic drum kit.
You can swap out the controller-mimic module for a genuine soundboard and have a set of electronic drums, albeit a somewhat sparse one that isn't Roland V. mmmmm.

I, in fact, own a set of Roland Vdrums. If there was a way that I could use that set in rock band, I would be set!! That would be WAY better than the one that they currently use!! Of course it cost me over $3000 on discount! lol
