CoD Map Packs live

Major Nelson brings word this morning that the Call of Duty 4 Variety Map pack is now live on Marketplace. The pack contains the "Creek", "Broadcast", "Chinatown" and "Killhouse" maps. Download it from Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 points at a size of 444.46 MB.

DLC always comes out after I'm done with a game, but is never enough to draw me back in. Oblivion's Shivering Isles expansion came out after I'd already beaten it, shelved it, and then traded it in. The Halo Map Packs have come out when I couldn't care less. Now this map pack comes out just a couple weeks too late.

Oh well.

The maps are cool, pretty much more of the same. If you've enjoyed the multiplayer so far, it seems like a good deal to get these as you'll continue having fun.

The best map is probably Creek, just because it's so huge. But "Broadcast" is wicked fun too.

I have found people to be camping in the shitter at C on domination on Creek... but if their is anyone with doubts, get this map pack. It is insanely better than most games even for it being the first pack to come...
