Now, wouldn't that be ironic.
But yeah I hope that he ends up owning them quite a bit for causing public distress and attempting to damage their reputation or something of sort.

that's dumb. if the guy was a gamer (which he probably is), then he would know that the "one time use" DLC code would most likely be used already in a used copy of the game. i hope he loses the case and owe Gamestop money instead. also, i don't think it's the employees responsibility to tell the customer that the code may not be in there since it's a little common sense if you know how "one time use" codes work, especially when you're buying a used game -__-
i recently bought a used Gears of War 2 and the DLC code for the Flashback Map Pack was still in the case unused lol.

I think this whole lawsuit is silly. I can say that at the Gamestop I frequent I have heard the employees offer used games (specifically Mass Effect 2) and tell the customer if they buy it used they won't get the free DLC code.
Unless the Gamestop employee specifically said the game included the DLC the guy has no case. Even if the employee said it unless Gamestop's policy is to lie to customers the guy still has no case.
I really get tired of the stupidity of people and lack of taking responsibility leading to frivolous lawsuits.

people can file lawsuits against almost any stupid thing these days. you can probably walk down the street, stare at someone's car the wrong way, and get a lawsuit claiming you had the intent to steal the car -___-
