Ouch. You obviously caught me on a very good day yesterday.
Yeah. It didn't help that three of my players got 1 point or less.

glad i picked up brandon marshall (chi) last week in a trade, he scored the first td of the game and racked up a sweet 14 pts for me.
also do you guys think dallas will make the playoffs? i ask cuz im thinking of making a trade for R. white (atl), i have M.austin (dal) and on paper it looks good and the other owner may get the better deal but im trying to gear my team towards the playoffs with moves like this.

It won't matter if they make the playoff's. Fantasy football playoffs take place during the NFL regular season. So our playoffs take place during weeks 14, 15, and 16 of the regular season.

Austin for white straight up? I would definitely do that trade, you get the better end Of it, unless you have to include more and if so let me know, otherwise I say do the trade.

How? White is better than Austin. Atlanta is better than Dallas.
Matt Ryan is better than Tony Romo.
The other person would be a moron to do that deal...

i went back & checked the weekly stats and white isn't better on average than austin, austin has had like 1 bad game where he didn't score at least 11 pts for me, white has had like 4 games where he put up under like 7 pts, also austin is on track to have a possable career year IF he dosn't get hurt, but all of the trade talk was before i was enlightened as to when the playoffs start in fantasy football.

the falcons are a pass first team, so he has more chances to put up big numbers as opposed to austin. you'll never get a 20+ point game out of austin, whereas you expect at least 3-4 from white a season.

true but i have a solid core of recivers atm who all avg at least 10+ a game AND victor cruz (NYG) WHO NOT ONLY PUTS UP AT LEAST 13-14 PTS A GAME BUT EVERY OTHER WEEK ALMOST BREAKS 20 SOME-ODD (sorry drifted with the caps)
the only player im worried about is ridley (RB ) for new england, he was tearing it up but now they have him sharing the ball with 2 other backs,i guess im gonna start sitting my leading rusher.

Absolutely true. Roddy White will go off for 200 and 3 TDs. Austin won't do that. Not with Romo anyway. Ask Kevin Ogletree. Then ask everyone who picked up Ogletree in week 2. Then ask everyone who dropped Ogletree in week 4. Romo is a terrible fantasy distributor.
On the other hand, White is just a Julio Jones injury away from being a 25pt./ week fantasy goldmine. His upside is so far above Austin's, it's not even funny. I guess it depends on what you need from that slot. I would take White in a second.

WELL YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM! HE'S MINE!!!
Anyway, all leagues score differently, but in my leagues this year, the stats are like this:
Roddy White: 76 this year 174 last year
Miles Austin: 66 this year 97 last year
Just throwing that out there. Numbers are fun.

Ridley has been splitting carries the whole season, it's nothing new. if you have a chance acquire white because NFC south is atrocious on defense this year as well.

my WR lineup isn't allstar but it's working for me, i don't see getting white unless i give up another big name, it's not like im hurting i have
victor cruz
miles austin
brandon marshall
-------------
steve johnson
malcom floyd
also the RB issue dosn't stress me that much as i still have doug martin & ryan mathewes in the line up if i need to sit ridley.
