XboxAmerica: 2006 Retrospective

Well, with 2006 behind us and XboxAmerica just over a year old, I thought I would share a few things with the community. We set a few goals that we wanted to attain, such as re-launch ourselves as a National site, boost our membership and host a full-scale tournament. Fortunately, we were able to achieve these, and make other improvements as well.
Here is a quick-rundown of the major changes and accomplishments that happened to XboxAmerica in 2006:

[!]Saw growth quadruple from 77 members at the end of 2005 to 361 at the end of 2006[/!]
[!]Transitioned to faster servers with more space[/!]
[!]Met our annual fundraising goal[/!]
[!]Revamped the game library[/!]
[!]Acquired our first sponsor and held two successful tournaments[/!]
[!]Created and launched our Podcast[/!]
[!]Launched News and Article sections to produce these items in-house[/!]
[!]Added two additional staff members[/!]

Although 2006 was extremely hectic and somewhat chaotic, it was nothing but pure fun. Look for 2007 to be an even better year, as we strive to hit 500 members, set a new high-water mark in our annual Fundraiser in August and continue to make further enhancements to XboxAmerica.
