Well, I just finished Batman:AA on Normal Difficulty (I should have started with Hard First), and the game was REALLY FUN!
The Story Mode can be completed anywhere depending on skill level, in close to 10 hours. I finished with 555 Achieve points my first run through. Now Since I have finished, I can go back and mop all the collectibles. I am currently at 115 of 240, I have 17/20 Upgrades, and 23/42 Bios with a 71% completion rate.
Once Riddler Guides are released after the game, and you follow that, this game could be completed for the 1k in about 15-20 hours depending on skill level. The big problems as far as achieves are going to be the Challenge mode Achieves.
As far as my after thoughts so far, my biggest gripe again are the controls while in combat or controlling your Remote Batarangs. It seemed during combat, I couldn't counter fast enough towards the end, and when a bunch of baddies are around you, things can get a little confusing (especially in the final battle)
One thing I wont say out loud...
Here are My revised Scoring Stats
Gameplay: 9.0 - Game could have been a bit longer
Graphics: 9.5 - So bad ass, very little to no errors with areas on the maps
Sound: 10.0 - Everything flows smoothly with the story, no oddball soundtracks
Controls: 8.0 - Get stuck on walls a lot because of control, and horrible batarang controls
Replay Value: 9.0 - The collectibles definately keep you busy, but the game holds its water well after completion.
Overall: 9.1 - The game could really use some nice downloadable content. Maybe some additional story lines or something or even some new costumes for the Bad Guys. All in all everything is done very well, and should impress most users not familiar with this genre of game.

All I'm saying is, I wouldn't let my kids play violent video games. Now I'm not one of them guys, I could understand ten plus. But letting a six year old play it, thats bad. Looks like someone uses the tv for a babysitter

Can anyone really dispute the fact that letting a six year old play a violent video game is wrong? I mean, would you let a six year old play grand theft auto? If any body thinks this is okay, they need to look in the mirror and think about there parenting skills. I mean, I joke around and all, but if you love your kids, you'll do what you can to protect them. I'm guessing you let your six year old watch porn to Lady Evol.

Thanks for the update Junior. I had my mind set on not playing this one with so many other good games coming out soon, but after reading both your reviews I am going to rent AA sometime soon.

We've had a thread about this a long time ago... But I'll go ahead and restate my views on this since you seem intent on trolling me today.
I don't use the TV as a babysitter, I let my son play video games as a reward for his behavior. Evol and I are huge gamers, as is my son's father, and the 3 of us are knowledgeable about the games that we allow him to play. He has a gamertag, but does not have a gold account, and is not allowed to play multiplayer games with other people.
I have a much looser policy on violence than I do with sex. Sex and nudity are no nos, and he doesn't play games that include that. He IS allowed to play certain games with violence, unless he cannot handle it. As his mother, I spend nearly 24 hours a day with him, and I'm very aware of his maturity levels, what he can and can not handle, and what he should and should not see.
Parenting is an ACTIVE DUTY job. Being a parent involves a lot of work, and a lot of interaction with your kid. If my son was a different person, he would have different rules, and different boundaries. It's called parenting, not letting some random group of people assign an abstract letter to a game and deciding what MY kid can and cannot handle.
Still, ya seem like the kind of girl who smokes cigarettes while he's on your lap or something. Violent games are not for six year olds. Anyone with common sense know that. But good luck with the emo little one.
