I was waiting to hear that...was going to address it the first time I said anything, but figured I'd save everyone the useless details unless someone called BS on me.
My neighbor used to work at a PC game company. He still has connections there and they hook him up with PC games early as well as the occasional 360/PS3 game. Batman AA happens to be one they let him get his hands on. The only stipulation...don't play on live or on a gamertag that will later go on live if it's before release date. His buddy who is still there isn't supposed to loan out the games to anyone. He still sneaks them to him now and then, just asks that he follow that one stipulation.
Far fetched? Yeah. Would I believe me? No, I honestly wouldn't. Take it for what it's worth. I've played it and don't like it. I don't get my jollies off of claiming to have a game early. He gets them very infrequently, I haven't played a 360 game early with him since Halo 3. It's usually just PC games which I have no interest in.

Exactly why I don't like this game, just too slow for me. I can't stand RPG's, stealth games, etc. Just too slow for me. I even dislike Gears because it borders on too slow as well.

No dude I really don't care, I was just curious...I just applaud everyone that is able to get their hands on a copy of a game before it came out to everyone else...That's why I'm trying to find my wife a job at gamestop or blockbuster or somewhere like that....LoL

LOL, Every time he gets a 360 game I tell him he's useless since it's so infrequent and I'd have better luck sweet talking the gay guy at gamestop to get games early.

People that work for gamestop...or blockbuster, stores like that. They get games a week or so before the actual release date, they play the game (or watch the movie, whatever the case may be) So that when the product goes on shelves for everybody, they can tell the customer the pro's/con's of the game/movie....They test out the product before anyone so they can tell people what is worth getting and whatever.
Some people know people that work at these stores, and they sometimes reap the benefits as well.
We all on the same page?

LoL...Well, the people I talk to at blockbuster, gamestop, movie gallery....That's what they told me.....So, I don't know man....LoL...I'm just going on what I was told...I saw James Bond Quantum of Solace two weeks before it came out to DVD

I'm stating my opinion...it was too slow FOR ME. Just pointing out why I didn't like Batman AA or others that are too slow FOR ME.
In Gears the issue was the player movement...the actual player movement is too slow. I know he has lots of gear on, but the guy moves like he has 2 gimp legs. Just not the game FOR ME.

I know, your right, thats your opinion. I was just shocked to hear it. I've never heard anyone refer to gears as slow. But I can understand what your saying. Like I said before, us southern boys like everything fast!!!!
Now I'm gonna sit back and enjoy some sweet tea yall......

Just for the record, I think gears is fast paced and awesome. Hell, I got a Gears poster autographed by epic above my couch.

Whether or not it is the point of the game to be stop and go doesn't matter to me... I didn't like it.
