You just knew it was only going to be a matter of time, and now RedOctane has announced that Guitar Hero II (GH2) will be coming to the Xbox 360.
GH2 on the Xbox 360 will include the new X-Plorer controller (designed specifically for the Xbox 360) and allow you to control the guitar as either a rhythm, lead, or bass. Downloadable content will also be available to take advantage of the 360's HDD.
"With its large integrated hard drive, Xbox 360 provides an incredible
platform for facilitating downloadable content," said Dusty Welch, Head
of Publishing, RedOctane. "We believe there is no better title to
feature micro-transactions than a music game like Guitar Hero II, where
the content is the basis of your experience. The relationship with the
Xbox Live Marketplace creates endless possibilities for exclusive
content."
As of the announcement, no date has been provided.
