Krispy Kreme Doughnuts was my first job, I worked there a little over a year. The doughnut glaze made me gag for the first couple weeks, it was nasty.

I was 15 and my job was to help prep new cars for delivery for a Chevy dealership in Warwick, RI. My dad was the general manager at the time, so I didn't have much of a choice about when I went to work or when I left.

I washed cars at a Ford dealership back in 85/86, then worked at McDonalds through High School (89), then spent time in the U.S. Navy, then moved on to my current job (I run a ready-mix concrete plant) and have been there around 18 years now.

I started at McDonald's when I was 14, cause I vowed I would have my 1st car by my 16th birthday, to coincide with my license. I worked there until about 2 months after my 16th birthday, when I finally had enough and walked out.
Worked at Wal-Mart after that. Was there for a little over 2 years. Same as above, a lot of friends from school worked there, and I met my current wife there, made work actually kind of fun and bearable. I worked in Electronics. I got fired on my day off, and it's kind of a bullshit story for another time.
Then I went to an Oil factory, Warren Distribution, that made all sorts of oil, from car oil to very heavy tractor oil, windshield washer fluid, power steering fluid, etc.... They make Wal-Mart's oil, lol, Super Tech. I probably would still be there if my dad hadn't gotten hurt on the job and sued their asses when they refused him workman's comp. I got fired the day his lawyer served them the papers..........
I have been with my current job ever since, ConAgra Frozen Foods. Dec 10th will be 10 years. Until recently I worked in the frozen warehouse on the shipping distribution center, driving a forklift. Now, I sit at a desk, doing all the computer work that tells the forklift drivers what product to get for the trucks going out.
