Another good one before it got patched, was the unlimited bottle cap exploit in Fallout: New Vegas. I forget the name of the second town that you visit that has the Casino where you could do it, but you played Black Jack building up your chips until the Pit Boss says you can't play anymore. Then you could take your winnings, cash them out for whatever currency that you wanted, but instead of chips being taken out of your inventory, they stayed there allowing you to keep cashing them in allowing you to amass a small fortune. But like Circus said about the Dragon Age exploit, you can play offline or clear your cache to take advantage of it.

The Dragon Age leveling glitch. That saved me a bunch of time.
The level 30 glitch in New Vegas helped tremendously for the hardcore run. I had unlocked the ach already the old fashioned way, so I didn't feel like I was cheating the game.

Oh, I forgot about Reach. There is the glitch at the end of any mission where you save and quit before the 'totals' screen comes up.

Hell, the final missions on L4D period. The Jesus room on No Mercy, the Jesus Rock on Death Toll, the Jesus Plane on Dead Air, and the Jesus bathroom on Blood Harvest. I also really miss warping the miniguns so you could jump 400 feet across the map.

In Left 4 Dead on the No Mercy Finale, their is a small room just before the room where you call the helicopter that has a room above another room up a small flight of stairs. You would have to get a zombie to slap the door open on the upper room, but once it happened, you could just cram everyone inside the room and stay at the back of the room and none of the infected would be able to find you. Tanks would spawn and then just die off. I'm pretty sure they patched it though.

that ssounds pretty good. I remembered the one on no mercy finale that you could get up on that back ledge behind the safe room and the only thing that could touch you was smokers. lol fun times

It was a long time ago so I don't remember all the details, but it was one of the Rainbow 6 games where you could trigger infinite enemy respawns to boost up your level up to Elite. This was the first time I had to clear my cache to use an exploit so it's memorable.
