Xbox Live Marketplace Schedule - December

Over at Major Nelson's website there is a nice list of the release schedule for the XBL Marketplace for the whole month of December and a list of all the upcoming Deal of the Weeks. We already know about the holiday gear released a couple days ago but there will also be Disney Classic items released on December 24th.

A big deal to mention is the fact that they will have a new deal each day on the marketplace from December 18th through December 31st. These deals are one day only deals and there is no advance schedule so we will all have to remember to check in daily to find out what the deal will be!

Here's what else we found out:

Deal of the Week:

December 14th:
Lips - Coldplay Track Pack for 240 MS Points.
Pinball FX (Japan) for 400 MS Points

December 21st:
Shadow Complex for 800 MS Points

December 28th:
The Maw for 400 MS Points

Release Schedule:

December 16th: Alien Breed Evolution (Episode 1) for 800 MS Points
December 23rd: Trials HD BIG PACK! for 400 MS Points

Games on Demand:

December 15: Viva Pinata: Party Animals
December 22: Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Colonies Edition and Devil May Cry 4
December 29: Gears of War

I would personally recommend anyone check out The Maw as it was a great arcade game for which you can check out a review here or even an interview with the developer here. Shadow Complex is another noteworthy Deal of the Week as well - if I hadn't picked it up already this would also be a must-buy.

I'm going to get Shadow Complex. And MAW is easy 200 plus DLC too total of 250 beat it long time ago.

You guys are going to enjoy the Maw, it's short but sweet, and I love that it tells the whole story without dialogue. The DLC levels are really good, too.

I'll probably grab Shadow Complex as well, been waiting for it to go on sale.

Cool, ive been meaning to pick up shadow complex.
IMO the maw was too short, got a lot more value out of 'splosion man (also a twisted pixel game),which could defiantly be one of the deal of the days

What's the MAW about? I'm leery of any arcade title. I haven't DL'd any in a long time and it seems I always go for a dud that I maybe play for an hour then forget about it like Family Game Night and Star Trek DAC. :no:

Well basically .....ok MAW =/= basic plot'
Ill try bullet points
You are an alien
You have a pet alien (The MAW)
the more it eats the bigger it gets- the bigger things you can eat
some things it eats gives it special powers IE fire breath

It has some puzzle/platformer elements

My problem with it was that it only had maybe levels and not really much replay value.

-try the demo (which made me want to get it when i tried it, but the fun of it started to wear off quickly)

If not basically what Blackmagic said - its a pretty fun game but it is short.
