Xbox America GTAIV Boosting Night!

Crawford and I are going to organize an event for this in the next day or two, obviously with this weekend being a holiday weekend, it won't work for a lot of people, but let's try to set a date and make some plans for next weekend or whenever.

Sorry, I just figured this thread would be easier than using the grinds my gears thread for discussion.

So, here are the multiplayer achievements for GTA4:

Teamplayer 10
Kill 5 players who are not in your team, in any ranked multiplayer team game.

Cut Your Teeth 5
Earn a personal rank promotion in multiplayer.

Join The Midnight Club 10
Win a ranked multiplayer race without damaging your vehicle too much and with damage enabled.

Fly The Co-op 15
Beat our time in ranked versions of "Deal Breaker", "Hangman's NOOSE" and "Bomb da Base II".

Taking It For The Team 10
Be on the winning team in all ranked multiplayer team games.

Top Of The Food Chain 10
Kill 20 players with a pistol in a ranked multiplayer deathmatch.

Top The Midnight Club 20
Come first in 20 different ranked standard multiplayer races.

Wanted 20
Achieve the highest personal rank in multiplayer.

Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic 30
Win all ranked multiplayer variations, all races and "Cops 'n Crooks", as both sides.

Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie 10
Kill a Rockstar developer in a ranked multiplayer match

So what does everyone need? Who's got some strategies? I can get people the viral achievement, and I'm sure some others can as well, and everything else (except Wanted, which may take multiple sessions from a dedicated boosting group) should be easy, providing we're all on the same page, so let's get a plan and date set up so we can make an event!

I need them all. I know that 'Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie' is a viral achievement, so anyone that has that one can pass that on to the rest of us. Wanted is one of the hardest ach's to get in the game.

Teamplayer and Top of the Foodchain should go hand in hand.

Join the midnite club sounds easy - start a race with a determined winner, and that gamer just runs the course with the rest of us just driving over the starting line and waiting until the race has been won.

Top of the midnite club is doing the same thing for everyone 20 times - TIME SUCK!!!!!!

Top of the midnight club may have to be done in smaller groups, in the interest of time... Guess it depends on how many people plan to join, and who needs which achievement.

I need all of these so im definitely down to boost but I think most of my time next week will be dedicated to boosting EA MMA so I'd be willing to start this up next weekend

I would definitely want to work towards all of them, (maybe not Wanted). If we could maybe start throwing out some dates that would work for everyone that would be awesome.

Also, Kat, I edited in a list of people who were interested in your first post, just so we could keep track.

I don't have any of the dlc, wonder if that will matter? From what I've read on TA, the dlc stuff doesn't count for the achievements anyway... :baffled:

Does the campaign / single player have any bearing on the MP? I have not finished the single player and I am a LONG way from doing so.
