About the only things I would recommend off the top of my head would be the mode should be warzone and frags/inks should be off. I would also think power weapons (boomshot, hammer of dawn, mulcher, mortar) should be off.
I think Stasis, Pavilion and Blood Drive would be good maps.

Yeah we gotta do something about host. But i honestly think we should try a 2v2 tournament for once, like every tournament has been 1v1 why not try out something new?

I was thinking about this same thing myself TD. If someone has host, they can totally have an advantage. I've quit playing Gears 2 several times (just for the night) because of someone having a terrible host advantage.
The only "fair" way in my mind would be to have a third party host each match, but that could make them take even longer to get three people involved. Unless it was set up along the lines of TD hosts these matches at these times, show up or forfeit. But I don't want a lot of people forfeiting because they couldn't show up.
Just putting this out there.

Even if we had someone else host you still have the possibility of the person who is on the host's team having a slight host advantage. I like the idea Fife had with no weapons on map. That would make it fair. Especially if Krueger-poo joins the tourney with his Modded controller and Xbox. You Got Pwned Kruegiy-wookums Sorry Durtie! I know you were hoping to not see me in this tourney, but GOW is my favorite game. So good luck everyone!!

goddamn it Bonedaddy, I don't have a modded controller/xbox! For the record he is kidding, that's our inside joke when we play Gears. Ask any of the guys I boost with and they'll tell you I don't need a modded controller/xbox. I put a lot of time and work into being as good as I am.
