dam...TD is gone? that sucks...i was wonderin why it said the feb event had been canceled, as i had been giving TD some ideas (like he asked) for matches n stuff cause personally i love halo 3, its hella fun w/ a buncha friends and custom games, so of course a tournament woulda been a blast! but i guess the MW2 tourny shit just pushed him over the limit...or whatever it was....dam....so we lost zoboa, mudkip resigned, i believe aldemar resigned too, and now td just leaves? dam, our moderation team is fucking up...

Dang! Top Dogs really left? This is a shock and is very saddening. I will miss him, this all happened because someone had to go and send threats? Whoever did this, better come out to these forums right now and say who they are. No one does this and gets away with getting rid of one of our BEST guys on the whole web not to say best mod ever! I mean seriously, what did Top Dogs ever do to you to make threats whoever you are? Why not come out and explain?.....Or are you afraid of getting banned?

No one got rid of Top Dogs, he decided to leave. He's the only one in charge of his actions, and trying to get people riled up into a lynching creates more problems than it solves. If you MUST know, AJ edited Top Dogs' post, where he named names. It certainly isn't relevant to the matter at hand.
That said, I've read a transcript of the chat that caused him decide to leave, and you're all misunderstanding his use of the word threat. He was not threatened. It was unfair of him to post that, because it does sound like someone wrote him threatening some sort of violence and that's not what happened. What happened last night ended up completely being blown out of proportion, a member got suspended, and when they tried to discuss it with Top Dogs through yahoo, Top Dogs felt he was being harassed, and decided he didn't want to do it anymore.
The member who messaged him last night didn't cause Top Dogs to leave, events that have happened since he's been a mod have just been adding up for him. He's been taking crap and being stuck in the middle of every one's petty arguments, he's been accused of being biased every time someone didn't like a decision he made, and he worked his ass off for the tournament just to have people bitch like kids when they were upset over results.
He's a good friend, and I hope he cools down and realizes he'll miss the site too much to leave.
Ms. Evol is correct, I didn't think it would fair to leave the certain person's name in the post. Either way, what's done is done. We just need to keep our heads up. Even though this situation surely blows.

So... I also am pretty much in the dark about what happened. I'm still a pretty lowly member here, and didn't really know TD, but from what I've read (I seem to read more than I post, bad habit) since I've been a member, he was a great dude, and I can only hope he comes back so I can continue to get to know him (as well as the rest of you guys).
