well tbh theyre good well-rounded matches. they deal w/ bein up close, far away, super fast (helps w/ accuracy...anyone can spray n pray), and the 1-shot-1-kill is just kinda a match for fuckin around w/ friends xD but theyre actually pretty well-rounded...have one up close, one far away, one for bullshittin, and one for...um...idk...the fast sword one is just there...but dude that shit can be hard sometimes! play that sword one w/ 10 sensitivity...quick movement + low gravity + insane turning abilities = WTF WHERED HE GO!?!?

While that is true, the Carbine and BR will kill someone twice as fast as a needler... If you're good at strafing a BR/Carbine will win every time.
Also, the only way the needler ammo will 'follow' someone is if you're in their reticle, so that would mean that person with the BR/Carbine would also be in 'line of sight'...

youre right, a tourny is based on skill. you have to be good all-around in a tournament. up close, accuracy, far away, etc. thats why i made the gametypes like that. if you want i can make the gametypes and let someone put em in their file share for all to get em so nobody has to worry bout makin the gametypes...those do take skill. you have to be quick, skillful, accurate, and an all-around good player. the BR doesnt take skill. 4 shots to the face ISNT difficult...now sniping? hard shit. shotgun vs shotgun? you gotta be fast or the other shotty WILL kick your ass. and swords + 300% speed + 200% gravity = insanely fast and a quick match. you have to be good w/ a sword...
im not stupid, i did make the matches take some sort of skill (cept 1-shot-1-kill, but like i said thats more like a match to just fuck around) you couldnt just pick up a shotty or sniper and be pro. w/ a br, you aim and shoot the face..which is out in the open and you have a huge reticle w/ which to aim. shottys gotta be close and have good timing, snipers have a tiny reticle...

dude, thats COD. it was MADE for camping. halo, sure people camp, but not as many. its more run-n-gun rambo shit. and snipin 1v1's arent just something "to fuck around to" snipin in that game is a bitch, especially w/ 10 sensitivity (i always play on it w/ bumper jumper controls) and the sword does take skill when youre moving at 300% speed and 200% gravity. youre moving way to fast to do anything. i mean the gravity fucks you over when you jump (cause youll barely jump. 200% grabvity not 50. 50% youd go flying) so it takes skill when youre runnin around and not being a camping bitch. and even if they camp you can get around it...and shotguns, yes, are usually 1-shot w/in range...but...you have to be quick and shoot at the RIGHT moment. you both may be in 1-shot range but whoevers got the faster trigger finger wins. its all about timing. and again, snipers move in halo 3. the only time a sniper stays in one spot is team matches. in lone wolves thye move around so they dont die. so youd see em movin and boom fuck em up.
and im sorry but battle rifles and carbines are insanely overpowered. theyre the FAMAS of halo. those two are the only two weapons i hate in halo, and its cause they pack too much power

Taco, I dunno why you keep talking about 10 sensitivity... There's no way of knowing if people will have their's set to 10, personally, that's retarded. That's the whole reason why you can change it... I know plenty of people who are amazing at halo but don't play on 10, it's not a competition on who can do the best with 10 sensitivity, it's a competition to see who's good at halo...

Im not gonna play if the tourny matches and rules are all over the place. I hardly play Halo anymore, so i agree with just BRs and something like an smg for your secondary.
