Wow, in the time I didn't play from last night to like 3 hours ago a lot of people have upgraded big time, I'm using the USA T1 and I'm getting destroyed,even in ideal locations with my highest armor facing I'm getting killed by I think it was like tier 7 & 8 tanks that I can't even scratch unless I'm using my arty (priest) and get a lucky shot, BTW out of the American arty lineup is it worth taking the time to climb to the top,I like using the arty but i can see this being a frustrating lengthy climb,opinions?

I only like a single arty, the tier V German Grille. I used the Marder II TD to unlock the tier IV, so I didn't have to grind much. I'll use the Chaffee to skip to tier V American arty and let you know.

I don't really see the attraction of the grille, I know the German tanks are dubbed as the best shot power in the game but really? Its stats went much better than the US tier of the same type.

I really don't know why I like it so much more than any other, maybe because it was the first one with a gun upgrade? Or the fact that it had 3 packages to research to the next tier, making me think I was making good progress?

Lol! Half million silver! All 16 of my tanks have a half million silver toolbox on them! That's like 8 million silver on tools! I don't know what to do with all my extra cash! My liechtraktor is worth 550k silver!

Might have missed it but I was wondering if anyone has paid to go premium yet, I'm thinking of getting the week package just to speed up the grinding process,I'm finding that I can rack up a good amount of xp/silver with higher tier tanks but they also cost a lot to fire and repair.
Basically I wanted to know if the week pack was worth getting, I know like 7-15$ is a lot to put down on a ftp game but I figured I'll be playing it for a little while so why not.

I would wait to see if the server downtime compensation includes premium time first. After that, I would suggest looking at the specials... for about twice the cost of 1 week premium, you can get a month and 100k silver! Founders pack 2 is about triple the cost of 1 week, netting you an OP LE tank, 5 of each consumable, and a tank slot on top of the premium time. The tank in the pack basically has premium built in, gaining more XP and silver than normal, but with reduced repair costs! And just because its FTP, doesn't mean its worth any less than any other arcade game... or retail game to some!

I kinda agree with your point man but I'm of the mindset that what's free shouldn't cost a dime, I'm kinda leaning towards the 15$ gold pack,not to concerned with extra tanks,might like the extra slots though,I'll hold off a bit anyways,thanks for the advice,btw , do you know anything about the crew skills/stats thing they mentioned on their store ad?

The crew will have their main skill, like the driver and his driving skill, as well as the ability to train secondary skills like repair, camouflage, and firefighting. As you continue to gain XP with the tank they crew, you will gain skill XP as well. The commander gives a 10% bonus to all crew while alive and certain items gives increases as well, such as advanced ventilation equipment and the chocolate consumable.
