I turned one of the games on for maybe five minutes and had to change the channel because those cicada kazoos are so fucking annoying. If I watch the remainder of the US matches I'm gonna have to mute that shit.

Yeah, it's annoying. Even worse than last Cup's.
It sounds like a permanent rush traffic full of semi's.

Here's the way I see it as far as futbol...aka soccer goes. The entire country of the United States is blinded by the fact that the rest of the known world loves this game. Americans are too wrapped up in basketball, hockey, baseball, and American football. Not that there's anything wrong with that but it really chaps my ass when people who know nothing of the game or its' history continuely ridicule the sport. As I've said before, the rest of the world love the sport, maybe Americans are the tards because they only root for sports in which they are dominant; same ideology for gamers who talk shit about certain games that they can't play because they're horrible. That being said, if you don't follow the sport and don't have a respectable or informative comment regarding the "discussion" of this thread then go bother somebody else and hate on them.
Anyways, I've been an Italy fan since the days of Roberto Baggio.....yes he missed the penalty kick against Brazil in the 1992 World Cup, but hey he's not perfect. We had a decent game today....a little worried about Buffon but he'll recover. Don't like the fact that moving on to the 16 round gives me either Portugal or Brazil.....who would want to face that right after the group stage?! FORZA AZURRI!!!

But i thought more people in the United States play soccer, than any other sport?
Anyway, all that hype that ESPN was building up with that USA vs England game really made me want to watch it. So i watched. And i sure did get kinda pumped I think i might like soccer now.

I'm having a lot of fun playing it, but if my mom hadn't of bought it for me, I probably wouldn't have purchased it til it was a little cheaper. (she got it at $40)
