If anyone has tidbits to offer, I am all ears. I need a new phone since my HTC-Arrive stopped working. I am not interested in paying $150 for repairs, if I can get a new Windows phone 8.

Windows Phone 8 - Discussions

Windows 8 is set for release toward the end of October 2012, but there is almost no mention of Windows Phone 8 providers or phone details. Following the big release of Apple's new iphone, one would think Microsoft would begin promoting new models to cash in on end-of-year/holiday sales. I presently have Sprint as a service provider. Sprint seems clueless, they cannot offer any details or information.

I sell phones at work sometimes and I have a pretty good idea of what I personally like. And personally, I do not like Windows phones and I think Windows 8 is pretty damn ugly. I prefer the iPhone over all, but I do like Android quite a bit. Like I said, though, all personal opinion here. In the end you gotta make the best decision for you.

All I want is the Nokia Lumia 920. Nuff Said. Most interested in the camera on the phone.
I hope sprint offers it soon as they never get jack for phones.

So far, AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon plan to carry windows phone 8s in November.
AT&T will carry the Lumia 820 and 920 and the Samsung Ativ S, T-mobile will offer the Lumia 810, and all 3 carriers will offer the HTC 8x.
Sprint currently has no plans to carry WP8s and they stopped selling their only wp7 phone over the summer.
I love windows phones, and plan to buy a Samsung Ativ S (It's got a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED screen, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and an 8-megapixel rear camera paired with a 1.9-megapixel front-facing one. The phone will come in 16GB and 32GB flavors) outright to use with wifi when they come out.

This is my main problem with iPhones. They come out with something "new" and "revolutionary" but it's been around on other phones for years.

I hope sprint changes their mind as the windows phone 8 looks to be awesome. That nokia lumia 920 is smokin bad ass. That camera has been specifically designed by carl zeiss, whom if your involved in the photog world, makes some very expensive bad ass lenses for full frame cameras. So needless to say, I am intrigued. Plus it doesn't hurt to have beats by dre on there as well lol.
