Both are great games and either would be a good choice. I just think that with the age of CoD4 that Bad Company 2 would be the better choice. There is a highly active community.

Here's the way to look at it.
COD 4 - Intense campaign, great multiplayer, all around great game. Outdated graphics and not as many people as the golden days. You have MW2 though.. so it's a lot of the same. All achievements are single player (not easy though)
Battlefield: BC 2 - Destructible environments, up to date graphics, vehicles, giant online community, slower feel, and achievements are online as well as offline. Way different feel from Call of Duty, either you'll love it, or hate it.

I played COD 4 an yeah its kinda easy but im not that good at it though, but it is easy rto snipe once you understand everything around it.an people do still play it online . For bad company 2 you should probably look for some sniping montages im pretty sure they should have some.
