Just got this game from gamefly and havent got to play it yet and I was wondering, is this game challenging on Hard? I saw a guide for it that said do your first playthrough on hard cuz there isnt much difference between normal and hard, is this the case?

Yeah, definitely do it on Hard first since there are 2 more difficulties to unlock after that. And Normal and Easy will stack with beating it on Hard.
It will seem difficult at first but all you have to do it stay in bullet time all the time, just keeping sliding and jumping everywhere and you'll be able to kill everyone no problem.
