Weekly Community Gaming Event

Alright so after viewing this site from Five years of being absent and fighting in the war. I just thought of what you guys would need. A Weekly or recurring community playdate. Post a poll on what game should be played, organize a lobby, get people to join, post a news article about it, then play.

Kat had held a summer event that spanned 5 weeks (I think it was 5 weeks). That was epic. With too few active members here it is rather difficult to organize and group any kind of gaming session. Not to mention that during Kats super summer event some asshole was dropping t-baggings on the poor bastards he mowed down. He didn't even have the common courtesy to say thank you when someone moistened his coin purse. Bastard.

and the fact the community is split still for who is on 360 and who is on xbox one, and that doesn't even include the members who switched to ps3/ps4, pc, wii u, etc.

Wasn't that you?
Anyway, yes- getting participation a few years ago was really rough, even choosing older games that people already had. Since then, the staff has asked for suggestions regarding events, but no one has really come forward with anything they wanted to see. Large scale events are just not feasible on the site anymore, as snap said, there's a big division of genre/console preference now. For small scale meet ups, the events section is useful (if people show up after they say they will), or trying to organize in the game's thread.

Wouldn't mind more (driveatar) concepts in games, so you play their likeness whenever you're on. Forza 5 and Crimson Dragon allow this, more would benefit from it
