While I really enjoy frequenting the local IMAX, I don't really appreciate this push for 3D in the home. Mainly, I do not like wearing the stupid glasses, but aside from that it seems like HD TVs were just recently shoved down our throat, now we're going to have to deal with 3D?
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be going anywhere soon. The upcoming re-release of Batman: AA GOTY Edition is going to be featured in 3D. The technology has made great strides, but I think it will be at least a little while longer before it becomes a standard.

Personally, I'm looking forward to gaming in 3D. I love watching movies in 3D, and the idea of playing a game and it looking like missles are actually whizzing right by my head... that will be awesome! I love to see stuff whizzing by my head! Especially long hard cylindrical things! Like missles and bullets I mean.
