Its the idea of Day 1 DLC that makes we wonder what these people learned in school. It sure wasn't to complete their projects that is for sure.
All I have to say is that this may be an exception. Bioware is making its own DLC service, so we can get FREE DLC for the life of the game since MS doesnt allow free DLC very often. Also, some DLC's are created by separate teams, so they may not even know the release date. And the game shipped like a week or two ago, and the time of acceptance for a DLC can take a month or more, so they dont want the game to be pushed back just because they decided to add extra content, otherwise the game must be re-rated. Since the game has left their hands long ago, they may have decided to add what didnt make on the disc.
