Hello and welcome to the Waffle Order 5.0! Continuing on from DWG's 4.0 thread I am hoping that members both old and new can continue to enjoy playing the games offered here. In this thread we share games that are then donated to Xbox America for various uses. If you would like to join, keep reading.
HOW TO JOIN
- PM myself (Tig) with a game or games you plan to donate to the Waffle Order. NO duplicate games are allowed. The initial donation cannot be an older sports game (at this point '11 or older). Once you have shipped the game out to the designated member you will be added to the list and can receive games. You do not receive your donation back. To speed up the process of joining, I will let you know to whom to ship the game.
BASIC RULES(There have been considerable changes to how things will work in this thread from now on so for those of you who have been used to the rules in 4.0, please familiarize yourself with the new guidelines).
- We will not be dealing with rotations anymore. No rotation 1, rotation 2, rotation red, orange, etc. Games will have 1 initial run through the entire list. Once you are done with it, it will be shipped to the next person on the list who wants it. If it gets to the last person on the list but a member from up the list adds it to their 'Wanted' list, it will be shipped to them. When a game has reached its time limit and no one wants it, it will be shipped to AJ for retirement. If you have any trouble with this, let me know. I can always tell you who to ship it to.
- All games will have a 3 week limit (not including shipping times). The time limit starts once you receive your game(s) and you have 3 weeks to finish it and send it to the next person who has it on their list of 'Wanted' games (Again, if you don't know who to ship it to, PM me). However, if someone doesn't want it or have it on their list of 'Wanted' games and you would still like some time to finish it, I will grant you a one week grace period to finish the game. If someone adds it to their list of 'Wanted' games while said game is still in your possession, you will ship that game to that person as soon as the grace period is over.
- People will only be allowed 3 games at once. Once AJ or the next person in line receives what you previously had, only then will you be able to request new games.
- Once the games no longer have any members that are waiting on them, they will be sent to AJ for retirement. He will be holding onto them until other members request them later on.
- Any games that still have members that are waiting on them but however already have reached their 3 game limit, will be shipped to myself and I will hold the games and ship to those members for no charge once they are below their game allotment.
- You may request to be moved down as many spots on a list as necessary should personal problems arise. This is to allow you to retain your spot based on seniority so you won't have to wait longer for a game thats on your list.
- Any games in retirement that a member would like to receive, please contact AJ. He will be holding ALL retired games from now on. To borrow a retired game, it's $3 to ship one game, $4 for 2 games and $5 for 3 games, payments made via PayPal. Remember that this charge only applies to games that are in AJ's possession (retired games). Games currently in rotation do not require any fees.
- If a game you want from the retired list has been pulled out of retirement by another member, I will gladly put you on a waiting list for that game then have it shipped to you once it has reached the 3 week limit with the member previously holding it.
- Confirmation numbers are to be used on all shipments.
- Confirmation number(s), the game you shipped and the member the game(s) are to be shipped to are to be posted in this thread for reference. If you don't post a confirmation number and a game is lost: it is YOUR responsibility.
- YOU are responsible for any games lost/damaged/stolen while it is in your possession.
- I (Tig) will have a master list of the games and I will keep track of who the games will be shipped to, when they are shipped and when they arrive. When you are ready to ship a game, PM the member you are shipping it to to get their address or any other info you may need and I will keep the thread updated accordingly.
I (Tig) will be running posts 1 and 2 to keep updates on who, when and where games are being shipped and received and keeping the games list updated. MizTian Cage will be running post 3 to keep updates of the lists of games members want so make sure he knows what games you want added to your list either by posting in the thread or, if he wants, PM him. As always, AJ will be dealing with the retired games.
ENFORCEMENT
- Anyone late on shipping a game will be out of rotation for a month. You're not the only person who wants to play the game. People were kind enough to DONATE these games, don't be a prick and ruin it for everyone else.
- Anyone who has a lost/missing game cannot receive more games until the missing game is replaced.
- If an individual is found to have lost or damaged games multiple times, they will be removed from the thread, no questions asked.
- If you break any of these rules or stray from the guidelines 3 times in 6 months, you're out of the order and will not be allowed back in unless you donate any game the majority of the order can decide on.
- If these are too hard for anyone to follow, get a hold of AJ and ship him whatever games you currently have.
DONATIONS
- Donations will be accepted to provide shipping cost of retired games or games that are waiting to be shipped in rotation.
- Donations will also be used to replace lost and damaged games that have been donated. This is not to remove responsibility from individuals but to keep the games within the Waffle Order.
- Please contact me if you would like to donate any additional games or cash to go towards additional games.
If any member has any ideas, thoughts, or concerns with the thread and how it's run, please drop me a line and let me know what you have to say. I want to make this a great experience for everyone and make sure this thread runs without any problems.
Lastly, please reply to PMs whether you have something to say or not. If myself, MizTian Cage or AJ send out a mass message regarding games at least have the manners to say, "no thanks."
