Re: Violent Videogames...Are they the reason why we go Apeshit?

I haven't seen a case yet where a NORMAL person just flips out from playing video games. When someone has went off the deep end it always seems like there was plenty of other issues. It's funny how it always seems to be a lawyer asking "did he or she have a video game system"
I don't think this Question will go away anytime soon. Video gaming is still in it's infancy. Yes it's been around awhile, but not main stream like it has in just the last few years. It'll take awhile before we really know what all this video gam'n, text'n, facebook'n and other social media is going to do to the younger generations. Their being exposed to things that even you twenty somethings never had to deal with, let alone an old fart like me.
I feel there is some things the younger kids should not see. My niece lets her son play CoD and I don't agree. He's only 7yrs old and has been playing since he was 3. Last I heard he was having some trouble at school. Probably has nothing to do with gaming, but then again we just don't know. The only thing I can say is try to be a good role model for the younger generation and things should turn out just fine.
