Viggle App Gives Rewards For Watching TV

I know we've had fake "free stuff" website links and apps floating around here, so I decided to share something legitimate that I've been using for a few months just in case someone was interested. To describe, it requires an iOS device, and it's a free app called Viggle. You use the microphone on your device to record a few seconds of audio from the TV show you're watching and it will check you in and give you points for that show's duration. A normal ratio is 1 point per minute + any bonus points you get if they gave one for that show at the time it was on. This only works for live TV, not recorded stuff. It's synced with a TV schedule so you can't cheat it. I admit it takes forever to get these points, but you can get all kinds of certificates and gift cards for different places that get updated from time to time and I've got a couple of $10 iTunes vouchers and a $5 Amazon card. Amounts of such things vary and points cost is indeterminate. You can also get physical items like an iPod Touch, but the points cost is insane. Thought I'd share and I've found you can rack up a lot of points on here through events like the Olympics and Shark Week, etc.
