This damn game has me so pissed off. The boss areas are rediculous stupid hard on normal diff. I am getting so fed up with this game that I am seriously gonna get rid of it because of this very reason.
With that said, here are my thoughts on it...
The story is awesome
Music and dialogue fit the the game very well
Controls can fight with you big time
Rapunzel is not addicting as they make it sound
The multi choices and how you play really switch up the outcome (need more games like this)
Achievement missables are a pain lol...well the achieves in general are not easy
Can be very demanding on your nerves and will definitely piss you off especially in the later levels. World 5 and 8 are the most hated in my book so far.
Anyways, I have no patience for the constant deaths you will go through. If you have zero patience and don't have a knack for puzzles, stay away from this title.
Otherwise with a few control tweaks and difficulty adjustments, this game can be really damn good.
I give it an 8 out of 10 even though I am pissed off at it.
With that said, here are my thoughts on it...

Well I have been working on Catherine since the game came out. Have had many irritated and pissed off nights with it. I finally put a small dent into this game and got 41 of 50 achieves and am just done with this game.
I managed to beat it on Normal and secured every ending as well as saving everyone I needed to. I managed to get all golds in every level on Normal which was very tough and also had 99 retries remaining when I got my first completion of this game.
All 8 endings were interesting and some were VERY FUNNY and some were just meh. But all in all, game was an experience from beginning to end. Atlus did a fine job.
I still stand by my 8 of 10 rating even after pouring 30hrs into it.
Just wanted to give an update.
I managed to beat it on Normal and secured every ending as well as saving everyone I needed to. I managed to get all golds in every level on Normal which was very tough and also had 99 retries remaining when I got my first completion of this game.
All 8 endings were interesting and some were VERY FUNNY and some were just meh. But all in all, game was an experience from beginning to end. Atlus did a fine job.
I still stand by my 8 of 10 rating even after pouring 30hrs into it.

Normal was stupid hard. In reality this game isnt really worth it to finish because of the outrageous difficulty. Good thing this game has a bangin storyline otherwise it would swim with the fishes.
The only way you can complete this game would be to commit suicide or game save like minioger.

haha...i hear ya, i played the demo and couldn't get into....didn't really care for the puzzles either but I have heard the game was stupid hard....congrats on getting where ya did though
