Unsure.Here Or Gamestop?

Ok,My Dilemma is,i want to get a new game.i have some money,but im not sure where i should spend it,or what game is should get.i have a few games,im big into shooters,but as far as the physical discs go,i only have GoW2.=\.so what im asking is for suggestions on what to get,and where to get them.i know games arent cheap anywhere,but i knew good and well if i go to gamestop right now ill be looking at "company" prices.haha.

Open to Any Suggestions

Halo: Reach. Best game of the past couple years so far. And, it's not cheap, and you should spend the money on books.

Books?haha.i want to get a game.i know it wont be cheap anywhere.thats why i came here,but i dont know if buying/selling/trading is even allowed on this site.

I suppose this is as good a place as any.

As far as Gamestop, have you played Prey or TimeShift? Both are pretty interesting shooters with good single player campaigns, and you can get them dirt cheap used from Gamestop.

Also, The Orange Box is a fantastic deal, you can find it cheap used as well and it has a ton of content--Half Life 2 & episodes 1 & 2, plus Portal for single player, and then Team Fortress for multiplayer.

And yes, buying/selling/trading is fine here, we even have a thread specifically for it: Xbox America trade-in center.

Yeah I'm not even a Halo fan but I've been loving the online of Reach so far, I would suggest picking it up from Walmart or Best Buy though to get the $20 gift card back. I also saw Singularity at Buybacks the other day for only $22, I would highly recommend pickin it up if you can find it that cheap or have a Buybacks near you somewhere, can't really think of any other good deals right now besides the ones already mentioned by Meta.

damn.im sitting on the "add to cart" page over at gamestop.com.im just dying to take that reach plunge.my moneys a little tight,but i have like a hundred and thirty.problem is its gotta last me until the 27th.i dont have any "real"expenses,no "assets".=\.i need reassurance,will it be worth it?

If you only have 130, wait for Reach, I am. Go pick up Prey, I think it's like 3 bucks. And get yourself a copy of Fallout 3 it's a great RPG/shooter and it will keep you busy for a long while with not only the main story but all the DLC! *

thanks bro.i ended up gettin the new 250GB slim W/O the kinect bundle.
as far as reach..had it got stolen..so im holdin out until some more dough comes in..but i feel you,its totally worth EVERY penny.=].and yeah..i think ima do some gamestop.com sifting.i have a few bucks kickin' around.Any halfway decent games worth mentioning maybe under 20 beside prey?thanks in advance.

The Saboteur is a large free world game that I've heard nothing but good things about and it's under 20, I picked it up for 17.99? Haven't got to play it yet though, could always pickup Burnout Paradise platinum hit for under 20, Dead Space, Saints Row 1 n 2 I think are both under 20 now, shit there are a ton of games under 20, gamestop has a Banjo Kazooie/Viva Pinata platinum double pack for under 20 too, all depends on what kind of game you're looking for...

Pick up Prey its like doom 3 and it's about 8 hours long and I picked it up at gamestop for $3.99. Also The GTA 4 Pack it has Gta 4 and LATD and TBOGT with it for I think $30.
