Shadowrun is fun if you are playing with a fun team (friends) then you know someones got your back all the time.

I think the hype of Halo 3 was too great for what the game actually turned out to be. I don't know, I was kind of excited even though I never played Halo, I'm like wow this must be a great game if everyone is so insanely interested in. When I got it I played for like a few weeks straight, then after two and a half weeks it got very boring and their are way too many assholes. I couldn't play for more than 30 minutes without being bored. That could have just been the lack of Halo I've experienced. Actually the only two games I've played so far that I could have played nights and days 24/7 is Shadowrun and Gears of War.

I agree with you Meg, Halo 3 definitley didn't live up to all of the hype that it created. I was psyched for it, too, got it at midnight, played through legendary, but something was missing. I loved Halo: CE, which is one reason why I never really got into Halo 2 all that much, and why I thought I got bored with Halo 3. Gears was the most addicting game I've played since the 360s release, I can remember many sleepless nights with that game, same with COD4, but not with Halo. After I beat Assassin's Creed tonight I'll be throwing in ShadowRun, so we'll see about that.
ya thats true halo 3 couldve been a better game

see i still like to game and all but ive noticed that halo3 feels almost unresponsive as in the weapons and such the melee system is way to strong and the 2 guns that are effective is the carbine and the sniper. otherwise i feel halo 3 would be better it just lacks originality and functionality if you know what i mean?

The reason is simply this, look at how many good games came out when Halo 1 and 2 did.....none meaning that there was almost no reason to play anything else. Now look at the games when Halo 3 came out...CoD4 a month after, same with Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, the list goes on and on each as good or better than the last. Myself I haven't played Halo 3 in awhile for that same reason I've been killing fools in CoD4, I've been assassinating people in AC, and in less than a month I'll be racing around the open world of Burnout Paradise.
I can understand getting hooked on a game. Been there done that. Now though there are way to many good games that I want to play to just sit and play one or two games. Alot of my friends are now only playing CoD4. There gamer score never changes. (pasta get10,000 geez) I'll get in the room and there not even having fun. Just leveling up. Wow, boring!!!
