wow... this is the STUPIDEST thing i have heard in a while... dont they realize there are plenty of people with no or poor internet connection? my internet is down plenty, causing me to go offline. plus sometimes i just get randomly booted from live! grrrr

From what Ive seen its the PC versions of UBISOFT games that need an internet connection not the console versions.

Who does Ubisoft think they are, Microsoft. Get the hell out of here. If they don't want their games pirated then they should put it on XBLA or the PSN. Why would I buy a game only to find out that you have to be connected to the internet to even play the game. We are in a RECESSION! Not everyone can afford to keep their homes let alone an internet connection. Ubisoft needs to seriously rethink their decision on this matter and find another way to monitor pirated games.

Well I can tell you that the last game from ubisoft that I will ever get will prob be the last game they make that dosent need to be online. Huh thats weird ACII dosent have any ONLINE achievements yet they want you to be online to play. They need to get involved with the cable company that is letting people share these pirated games. Warner Brothers does it with cableone, I know cause I just had to write a certified letter to them for downloading and sharing the Bindside.

I've noticed that too... I'm not able to play Borderlands DLC offline on THE SAME xbox I bought it on, it makes me connect to live to be able to access it...
