Trader Rating System?

Just a random thought. I understand there is a system implemented for the trade center, but I was thinking, there should be a trader system, that shows a number of positive/negative trades under their name, to give newer members, some more confidence in trading.

This system would include an input/comment area, describing the trade, and a thumbs up (which equals a +1) or a Thumbs down (which equals a -1)

Basicly this would be like the itrader system on certain forums.

I believe they reviewer MUST provide reasoning on why the rating was given. Not just, hey this guy is a douche so I believe he needs negative feed back.

I like it, sorta like the ebay feedback system. I think it would make the trade thread more active.

@ Da Mexican I don't think he's talking about everyone voting, just have the two people doing the trade to leave feedback. Just because the trade went through, doesn't mean it went okay.

Although I think its a good idea Junior. This ^^ is exactly why I think any sort of feedback system like a +1 -1 will just get abused at points because people are angry or childish or whatever.

I was agreeing with you in a weird way. I was just pointing out that someone gave the OP a thumbs down for no good reason. You did the right thing by voting them back up. I'm just saying there are some folks around here who abuse the arrow system when its supposed to be for moderating. I imagine some will do the same for a trade system rating.

I think it's a good idea but agree it would get abused.

I would say just have the people involved in the trade post/PM Mini with how the trade went, and he could add the +/- to the people involved.

This, of course, would have to be ok with Mini, who already has his hands full.
