The Saboteur. Your thoughts?

I'm going to buy a new game soon and I seen some footage of The Saboteur and it look amazing. Someone said it's like a WWII GTA. Does anyone know if there is a lot of free roam?

The game is good. GTA meets Assassins Creed in the 40's in nazi controlled france. I just wish I had more time to play it, and it can get repetitive at times, but it's still a good game.

Sounds awesome, because I love Assassin's Creed

I've been playing this for the last two weeks and I love it. The protagonist is an Irishman out for revenge against a Nazi officer who murders your friend at the beginning of the game. The gameplay is The Godfather games meets Red Faction with an art style like Sin City. You could say there's maybe just the tiniest bit of Assassins Creed only in the fact that you can scale just about any structure but the climbing is not nearly as fluid as AC.
I love sneaking up on a Nazi and snapping his neck, bashing his scull in or after you unlock it you can just slide a knife under his ribs and down he goes. Swap your cloths for his uniform then you can move around with a little more ease without drawing too much attention.
I like the story line and there's tons of shit to blow up. Some might say too much shit. Completionists beware. This game will take a long time to complete as there is around 1000 ambient freeplay objectives which mainly consist of blowing shit up and there's races and jumps like GTA but not nearly as many.
I only have two real complaints so far. One is there's no one-touch map access. You have to pause and then select the map and then open it up to full screen. The other is they could have hired a real Irish actor to do the voice work for Sean as well. A couple of the minor characters you run across have real Irish accents as you can tell Sean is some American actor doing a lousy Irish accent.

Thanks for the details
When I seen some footage for it, I immediately thought.. Sin City. Does it get annoying after a while?

It might get repetitive for some but I haven't grown tired of it yet cause I try to space out the story missions with a bunch of free play objectives in between. Literally every square block of Paris has something to blow up or some kind of contraband to collect.
