This is why I don't bother with MP until I'm done with the campaign or story mode for any game these days. Seems like every game has MP issues right off the bat. For the most part, I find myself playing MP less and less anymore and this is one of the major reasons why.
Exactly. I actually put off playing Crysis' MP until like a week and a half after I beat the game. I was surprised when I actually did play it, it was a lot of fun - for about 45 minutes. I ended up in first place every MP match I played going about 13-4 every time. The armor lock and invisibility got old fast when someone would be hiding in a bush waiting for someone to walk in front of them.
On topic, don't think I'm even going to bother with Brink unless Circus sends it to me to borrow.

I think this game is a rental at best. The game is severely unbalanced with the AI of the bots. Your team ends up being a bunch of wandering fools. They pickup your objectives and set you up to fail. The enemy AI is rediculous! They are extremely deadly and smart on the easiest difficulty. Because of this, I think playing campaign on certain missions would be impossible on solo.
Hell Circus and I had so much trouble with the AI near the last stretch of missions we needed to wrap up becaue we were rank 3 level 13s and the AI were a bunch of ranks 5s with what seemed like auto revive, making it impossible to capture objectives. We had to make our game public on campaiggn and get more smarter help, as our AI was not helping us.
Our weapons seemed underpowered and our enemies seeed deadly. The server online are shit. Challenges are also way difficult because of the dangerous AI on easy. Character models are stupid too but I love being able to customize their outfits for a unique look however that is extremely limited. And don't get me started on repetitiveness repetitiveness repetitiveness...lol
In the end, circus and I both finished campaign and what-if missions in one night. We have over 600gs already. Like I said in the beginning, game is just a rental, not a 60 buck purchase or even a 20 buck one...
I give this game a solid 5.5

Agree and Disagree with Junior's review. Most of what you said I have experienced 100% exactly the same way. Same frustrations etc. The product they put out on release day...probably a 6/10. If they don't patch some of the issues then this is absolute garbage and the developers have no respect for their consumers. Lots of the issues could be fixed with a patch to make it a solid 8/10.

I agree with what your saying kent. A patch to balance things out, make the online less laggy and all would really help the game out a ton. I also think some more maps and game types would also help brink. I like it but it is really frustrating.
