it depends, from the video on inside xbox, even tho it said built in HDD, it looked like it was detatchable so that could help.

I'm sure they do, since they just made usb drive support for the original, it will probably work on the new one as well.
As for transferring with a cable, they are supposed to sell them retail $19.99 and you just plug it into your current hard drive, and plug the usb into the new xbox.
I just watched an unboxing video, and now I really want one. Ugh. Too bad I have a $400 dell mini, and two $100 soccer jerseys on my wish list as well...
Edit --> You can pull the hard drive out, however it's in an xbox built case, so until someone figures out how to switch them, I wouldn't try it.

Well the thing is i have to sell what i have now to get the new one LOL. Im supposed to be getting hooked up with some graduation money from my mother this friday. So hopefully that happens so i can transfer everything before selling my old xbox.

Ok now I REALLY want to get one of these. Whonder why the HDD is on the bottom? This looks tight, and *fhew* data transfer cables. But with a new dashboard and all of this new stuff, I'll be behind the game sooner than later.
