As a rookie to the world of cigars I am far from being an expert but I have developed a taste for a few. So far my favorites include Arturo Fuentes, Romeo y Juliettas, Monte Cristos, and Te Amos. The shapes/sizes I prefer are Rothchildes, Churchills, Torpedos, and Robustos. I can deal with Coronas sometimes too. As far as the ones I don't like.... So far the only 2 are Macanudos and Cohibas. They are just a little too strong for my palete.

Any cigar smokers out there? If so, holler with your thoughts, comments, likes, and dislikes.

I like the "It's a Boys!" cause Mitch Hedburg said they're good.
Also, I'm probably one of the few geeks out there who will occasionally buy a fruity Phillies to actually enjoy it as a cigar and not cut it up to roll a blunt. White Owls are pretty good too.

Cohibas that my uncle gets from cuba are AMAZING. I don't really smoke anything else except Romeo y Juliettas, and they're just average IMO, best cheap smoke for your money though. Acids are decent but I don't like the twist they have lately.

I gotta agree with Meta. The flavored smokes are good. I took a pack of Swisher Sweets with me to the beach last month. I chewed on one for a few hours. Still smoked very well and still tasted good. I'm not afraid to admit it. I also tried a Punch this evening. At first it wasn't that good. After a while it grew on me.

Black N Milds are really good, but the problem is when I have them I forget it's a cigar and start huffing on it like a cigarette, then the next morning I can't breath and am hacking up shit.
I smoke cigarettes but not many, so a lungful of real cigar stuff is blech.

You ever been to JR's in Burlington? They have the biggest Humidor I have ever seen. Basically, the entire cigar store (consisting of two seperate rooms) is one giant humidor. They have some killer deals in there too. You can pick up sampler packs for anywhere between 30-40% off what you would normally pay. It's unbelieveable. That's where I got my humidor. I got a $50 humidor for 10 bucks!!! Of course I had to buy a bundle of their knock-offs but the total was still about 12 dollars less then what I would have paid originally.
On another note...... Irish...... That's pretty effing funny. LOL!!!

Before I quit cigarettes about 3 years ago, I was a huge cigar guy. Now, not so much anymore. I still enjoy one from time to time, but nothing like I did before. I still have a decent supply of my favorites.
I've got a pretty short attention span so my favorite size is the robusto, short belicoso, or corona gorda.
Never understood the allure of Cuban tobacco, so my tastes prefer what I can legally purchase as a US citizen. My favorite lines are:
Fuente Don Carlos
Fuente Opus X
Ashton VSG
Ashton Heritage
Fuente Hemingways
Padron Anniversario
I'm a nut for a cameroon wrapped cigar so those are usually my first choice. I've tried a few flavored cigars and some are ok, and others are not so great.

That aint no joke about the Camaroon wrappers. Montecristo Afriques are supposed to be off the chain.
I was picking up some smokes for our weekend trip yesterday and the guy at the store saw that I had 5 Te Amos which are less then 4 bucks. He gave me a Nub for free!!!! That's a 7 dollar cigar!!! They are fairly new but it was friggin' awesome.

I never tried a cuban. I did get a pretty good deal from Cigars International. I got 3 5-pack samplers for 40 bucks. By themselves the samplers ranged from 40 to 50.

This just in.....
I got a catalog from Cigars International.
I mentioned before that I was given a Nub by the guy at the shop. CI is offering the Nub Top 10 Sampler for 30 bucks. It includes 2 each of the following:
460 Connecticut
460 Cameroon
460 Habano
460 Maduro
And 466 Box-press Torpedo Cameroon. Keep in mind that these are 7 dollar cigars. These suckers are really good smokes and well worth the money.
