Today, after over a month of planning, and numerous attempts over the years, we achieved what has only been done 2 other times before.
We got the Online with 1000 People Achievement!!!!
Multiple sites went into the planning for this. Just off the top of my head, I know that we (XBA) were part of it, of course, as well as True Achievements, and Xbox360Achievements. I seen on TA that Easy360Achievements was involved, as well as destructoid.com.
It was a very awesome thing we did today everybody, and all of you here deserve a huge pat on the back for your involvement.
I had to work today, and my wife was loving enough to get me into a lobby as I walked her through it over the phone at 9:30 this morning. I didn't log off until about 2:30 this afternoon, as we were only at about 250 people online at that point.
I have seen here and in the lobby that we reached 1400+ which is just EPIC! Thanks again to everyone who was in a lobby to help us with this milestone in gaming history.
A special shout out to Mr Bay and theEVOL1 for their help in keeping this event, and my thread about trying for it, close to the top of the threads over the last month.
