Star Wars Battlefront: trailer & 3 min of gameplay

EA has finally released in-engine gameplay footage from the upcoming Battlefront to go alongside the long form trailer, check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWNaR-rxAic

EA has said that the game will not feature a campaign at release, and will be set in the original trilogy (episodes 4-6) with a small amount of elements from the upcoming Episode 7: The Force Awakens. Currently there are plans to add a campaign later, as well as elements from the prequel trilogy and the sequel trilogy, and DLC is very likely.

Star Wars Battlefront is set to release November 17th for Xbox One, PS4 and on PC through EA's Origin service.

Man this looks awesome. Been waiting for a new Battlefront for years now, I can't wait to get in an AT-AT and step on AJ.

I was stoked for this game until I heard there was no single player campaign. Now I know I will be skipping this one.

I thought the same thing with Titanfall. No real campaign? Sounds like a horrible idea, but Titanfall turned out to be awesome.

The previous titles were pretty much all online play anyway or that's all I remember ever was playing it online.

Same here; I used to play Battlefront 2 with roommates splitscreen Halo-style when we didn't have an internet connection.

The single player campaign would just be you going through the motions of events in the movies, there isn't a need to rehash.

The wife and I were fortunate enough to be at Celebration VII in Anaheim last month to view the trailer. Their set up was awesome. The "stage" if you will, was set up like the briefing room in ROTJ where the rebels are discussing their attack on the new death star. The folks there did confirm that one of the dlc maps will be the planet Jakkuu (sp?) from the upcoming movie. I don't think the AT AT will be a drivable vehicle though. I hope I'm wrong on that one though.
