Soul Calibur V Announced

Soul Calibur V has been announced. The game is currently planned on being released sometime next year. Soul Calibur V will hit the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles.

The next installment of the Soul Calibur series is set 17 years after the events of the previous game. The new story will focus on a new character by the name of Patroklos the son of Sophitia. If you visit their webpage, www.soulcalibur.com, you will be treated to a minute and a half video and if you join the Soul Calibur community on Facebook, it will unlock some additional content on their website.

;) yessir! its funny i was actually reading about Exar Kun when i saw "rumored Star Wars figure" and thought of how cool it would be if they put some of the Old Republic figures in. i mean, Starkiller is cool (especially on FU1 where if you download the skins that has a full cybernetic Starkiller. its BADASS.) but there are some other damn interesting characters floating around the series no one ever acknowledges. Plagueis was just a character i threw out there.

star wars again? i mean, they've always got to throw in somebody that doesn't belong, like Link in the GC version of SC3 but why do Star Wars twice? I'd like to see something a little more creative... In any case, I'm pretty excited. I never actually played 4, although if the chance every presents itself I will hop right on that. But my friends and I played the crap out of SC3 for the Gamecube. I love the series
