Scratched Discs

I bought GTA IV: EFLC today and my 360 wont read it (bought it at the pawn shop for 17 bucks)

How does XBA fix their discs? I was really hoping to play it and now im sad lol

(PS I did use the search bar but every time I put in something, it would load up a blank screen)

Some video rental shops have a disc repair service. One or two dollars is the usual fee.

If it's circular scratches some places wont even touch it.

I used to go to Game Crazy to fix mine, but since they are gone I go to Hastings now. Try them. It's only 2 bucks and it works really good.

It's odd, but a cloth and some toothpaste really does the trick. Look it up on youtube.

Take it to a rental place and pay for it. Best way to do it.

i have a circle scratch on my CoD:WaW disk. it actually runs but makes my xbox make unsafe clicking noises. so what i did was rent it and install it to my harddrive. but if yours dosnt read at all (and has no scratches) just clean it .

Do it right, or it will make your disc worse.

Yeah. I had so many Original Xbox disc rentals sratched up, but this worked every time. just have to be careful tho.

I did it once with Mass Effect. I kicked my xbox while playing it and scratch it really bad. I then rented it in Blockbuster, but the difference is that I went back an hour later saying that the disc was unplayable.

They did not find any other copies, so I had to choose a different game. :rofl:

So the trick is return it fast after hiding the other copies behind movies and stuff.

Hastings is the way to go but some of my really scratched discs they wouldnt even try.
