First off, I searched router, all 4 threads looked old. I'm at work, so I can't be caught on the site and will try to make this quick.

My internet is through my phone company, and they have always required that their router be used. The one I've had for about 6 years now took a shit Friday night. The phone company just called and they left a Modem/Network Adaptor on my porch, but they said they no longer do their own routers and I will have to buy my own.

That leads to my question. I have never had to buy a router. Can you guys give me some good advice on a router that has both wired ports and is wireless? I know I've read on here in the past that some routers are not good for 360, and I want to avoid buying one.

Thanks in advance everyone. By the way, the one that I had through my phone company was a Paradyne.

The newer Linksys routers are good for wireless/xbox use. Thats what I use for my home LAN
