No and no. Even if the GOP voters suddenly lost 30 iq points and chose a tactless, incompetent man whose platform is "trust me, I won't run the country how I run my businesses," he wouldn't present an actual threat to the left. No one is going to jump their political ship and vote for a man like him. What's going to happen is a more moderate person will win the nomination, and Trump will run as a 3rd party and splinter the racist, redneck "good old boy" voters off from the party's ticket.
That's fine - I just shudder when I think of what he might do if he got into office...

What has their excuse been in dismantling the power house they assembled? Coaches, players, coordinators, you guys have just given up and gone home.... why? Save Money?

The bullshit excuse they gave for firing Harbaugh was that they didn't get along, or "mesh well" with him. What it really was, is they wanted a YES man, and Harbaugh wanted Jed York and Trent Baalke to take more of a back seat.
This is also where the fiasco with the rest of the coaches came from, in my honest opinion. They pretty much got rid of everyone who backed Harbaugh, they even removed Harbaugh's section of Levi Stadium that had been dedicated to him.
Trent and Jed say that the exodus of players had nothing to do with the Harbaugh situation, but I disagree. I am willing to bet everything I own that had Harbaugh still been our coach, a lot of players would still be here. Keep in mind, while lying to the world, the Head Office also lied to the entire locker room. I bet Patrick Willis and Justin Smith would have played at least one more year, and Frank Gore, a huge supporter of Jim, might have stayed for the $ SF offered him had Jim still been there.
Add in all the other players that left cause the front office didn't want to pay them, and other players who retired, and we shot ourselves in the foot.
I am trying to be optimistic about this season, but it is difficult. I would be happy with another 8-8 season, but if I am truly honest, with the talent we lost, and a decimated coaching staff, I could see us going 5-11 or worse. I see 0-6 in our own division, or at best 1-5.
Jed and Trent just sent us back to the dark ages. I had accepted our fate during the last 13 year stint of shitty seasons, and then Jim came along and turned things around. Now it sucks to think we are headed right back there....
All while watching fucking Seattle, of all teams, become the powerhouse dynasty that they are becoming. Makes it worse. Wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for all the band wagon bitches who say their 12 flag is a symbol of their being the 12th man, when it is really the flag for when they all became fans.
