i work at my local BBV (blockbuster video) over here in FL, and i've noticed that we have been droping prices on alot our games lately, they are considerable price drops as well.

just wanted to get that out there for all of you.

Thanks for the heads up, sadly I can't go to BlockBuster since they make you pay for next gen stuff with a damn credit card.

They don't make you pay for anything with a credit card actually. They just make sure there is a credit card on the account so nothing gets stolen which is a very smart idea!

Service sucks though..here.., half of them don't watch any of the movies so they really can't give you any advice.

That's weird, the last time I was in there I tried to rent MLB 2k7 and buy Spider-Man 3 they wouldn't let me because I wanted to pay with cash. It was a year ago so maybe they changed or maybe Kentucky is just retarded, who knows

I work at blockbuster too and you only need a CC when you're renting. Blockbuster could care less on how you pay for used games as long as its not a check over $50.

Every Sunday we have price changes on product in the store. Games will be transferred to previously played and some of their prices will drop. Just FYI.

i dont really go to BB much...i did to rent SC4...but..thats about it...used ot go ALOT (as in like, when i was 4-6, and rented all those lil kid movies like Land Before Time and Power Rangers roflmao) but i dont go there much..

you don't even need a credit card to rent them, you could just keep your moms on file and pay for cash every time you rent..

May be true but that's not what they told me that day and a couple days after when I tried to do the same thing.

whoever is telling you that is wrong or was just hired
i've never worked at blockbuster but i used to rent from there all the time

to have an account there you must have a creditcard
just so they can have one on file incase you never return a game/movie
but when you go to rent on the account you do not have to pay with it on a credit card, you can use cash

Yea, I don't rent at Blockbuster for that reason as well. The BlockBuster in my town never had that stipulation; there is no credit card on my account and I always rented 360 games and stuff from them. Now that they have closed, I tried going to one in the city in a real shady part, and they gave me a bunch of BS about needing a credit card on my account. Not going to happen; I wouldn't have given one to the BlockBuster in my town, I'm not going to give one to this shady Blockbuster. Hollywood Video gets all of my business now: I can rent all the games I want, no credit card required
