I also have a PS3, and I think they still cannot get to the quality of LIVE (far from perfect, but still better). So you get what you pay for. Just shop around for deals, like free months, discounted prices, etc.

10 bucks isn't that much of an increase, but like everybody else says you can usually find a subscription on amazon for a discounted price.

and cmp2005, im not sure thats legal. that is technically considered 'price fixing' which (if im correct) is illegal to do. now sure, games dont HAVE to start out at 60$, so it isnt TECHNICALLY price fixing, but how many games (other then on the wii) start out less then 60$? (over doesnt count because those have a reason to be over)
this is all really stupid and annoying, but really, there aint much we can do about it
