Play Halo 5 free* - June 29 to July 6

Halo 5 Guardians (and all the DLC up to this point) is free to play from June 29th through July 6th as part of the Free Play Days program.

*Requires a Gold membership.

The download is pretty big, almost 88gigs.

So far, I like this game's Firefight much better than past ones. It has up to 8 people on the fireteam, and nice maps & bosses. It also works well with the REQ system.

I have only dabbled in the other multiplayer stuff. I like that the popular Arena playlists include a lot of different modes and not just Team Slayer.

I am on mission 4 of the campaign and it is pretty enjoyable, although coming from me that isn't saying much as I've never been a big Halo fan. I do like that they get in to the "why are Locke and his Spartans hunting down Master Chief and his Spartans?" right away.

I don't like that they toned down Cortana's ridiculously curvy body.

Even though the Free Play Days were over yesterday, my digital copy of Halo 5 still works, both multiplayer and campaign.

I hope this is a permanent "mistake" cause I am actually enjoying this.
