Agreed.
I am aware that we did not just win the whole war on terror, but this was a victory. Just in principle maybe, but a victory none the less. Would you rather our troops kept dying for 10 more years and never find him? I am glad that we at least got him. It doesn't make it all fair, or take back anything that happened in the last 10 years, but it helps.

I would prefer that we didn't make the mistakes that Russia made in WW2 and just keep throwing troops out to die, and eventually hope to outnumber the enemy. It wasn't a lot of people. It was just me and I said I was just fucking around. Of course Obama's gonna take some credit for this. He is the President. Regan took all the credit for when those hostages were released by those Iranian terrorists even though Carter's administration did all the work.
@Melissa - This is one of the rare moments where I have to disagree with you. Of course this isn't the end of the conflict and yes we still have a shitload of other problems to worry about these days but the fact remains that bin Laden was still a terrorist and a murderer. Say Charles Manson wasn't arrested, tried and convicted when he was and he was on the run for 10 years. We'd still wanna see his ass brought to justice, right?
