I have to say the Jets in the AFC are the best right now. The AFC is top heavy with 3 1 loss teams. Both the Steelers and the Jets have lost to a good Baltimore team. The Steelers are a little better on defense than the Jets, but I'll take New York on offense... for now.
There are also some very good 2 loss teams too! The Titans, Colts and Texans are all scoring machines and are dangerous every Sunday. Baltimore is also hanging around although who lets the Bills score at will like that? They won, yes, but wow!
The NFC is a little harder to dissect. With the Saints losing their third game, (to the lowly Browns, lol) and 2 loss teams like Tampa and Seattle, I guess the Giants and Falcons are the default teams to beat. The problem with these two teams is that they both had 3 score leads in the second half this week and let both opponents back into the game.
I think that if the Packers find some consistency and a run game, (Ryan Grant is sorely missed) they could be the team in the NFC.
