So i seem to have forgotten the email and password to my current xbl account, and i was looking for some advice. I know my gamerscore compared to some of your guys is nothing but i worked hard for it. I am worried that when i get a new hd that i wont be able to recover my account because i dont know the password. Does anyone know if the usb stick will still transfer it without using the pass word. I would try it but i am frightend that i will not be able to get back on my account. Aside from all that i've considered making an new Xbox live account and just starting over with the achievements Idk What is your guy's advice?

I would have gone with a USB. I switch between xbox's all of the time so I switch my profile from HD to USB and back to HD.

Yeah, it's not too late- just use a USB and if you've forgotten your password or email, you can probably see the email on your account settings on the dashboard. Since the last update, my email is visible in the top right corner... I know you can change it where it doesn't show, but I didn't care.

If you move your tag from one Xbox to another, you have to enter your live id and password the first time. Even if your settings don't require it. It's a pain in the ass.
