New Xbox 360 Wireless Headset and Media Remote

Coming this November, Microsoft will be releasing a new version of the Xbox 360 Wireless Headset and Media Remote to color match with Xbox's slim models.

The new versions will be running on bluetooth technology (about time).


Along with the 360, the headset will also be compatible with with Bluetooth-enabled phones and PC's. Another feature it has and is long overdue is the noise cancelling feature. I myself will be loving this feature. No longer will I receive complaints from my friends about my surround sound being too loud. The headset will be allowing you to switch from your game chat over to your phone. I'm not to sure if I want to answer the phone when I'm getting down with some t-bagging, but at least it's a nice feature for those who want it. The headset will be going for $59.99.



The Media Remote will do what you're previous remote did with it enabling you to control your DVD movies, music C.D.s, the Dashboard, Netflix, Hulu, and various other streaming services. You will now be able to sync it with most televisions out there and have the option to power on or off your t.v. or control it's volume. The Media Remote will be going for $19.99.

Remote looks sick. I used a wired controller so to pause Netflix it would always involve getting up (terrible, I know) So the remote really appeals to me.

I have always wanted a bluetooth for my phone, but never shelled out the money for it. Was planning to since they have gotten a lot cheaper. Now this is coming out and it will take care of all my needs. The remote I might get my friend for a gift, but I don't need another one cluttering up the table. Loooks awsome though.

Why someone didn't make a USB bluetooth dongle so you could add any bluetooth you want is beyond me.
But i like this, cause i have never had a good headset from day one. I have given up playing online with my buddies cause of this. I have a 2year old daughter that has hawk like hearing:p

It is pretty shiny, I'd like to have both, because I watch a ton of movies on the 360. The headset would be cool too, since I'm still kickin it with the standard ones they come with,

I don't need the remote, my harmony 700 will do all that plus communicate with my ps3 as well. Im wondering if this will work with the older 360's like the elite?
