less plastic is less plastic, no need to get your panties all in a bunch. If it bothers you that much Im sure you can just use plastic you have around lying around your house to fill in those holes.

Because Microsoft can't just do this themselves in the first place. Using less plastic won't solve the god damn hole in the ozone layer, it's just a major inconvenience when my case isn't a full case. And tell me what tupperware I can find in my house that is shaped like those triangles.

Why is it such an inconvenience? It sucks that they are a little less durable, but unless you play Frisbee with your cases, slam them into things, and all around not care for them, it shouldn't be a big deal.

They do this so they don't use as much plastic... it's for eco-friendly purposes.

As to the new design... meh. I might like it in real life/it may grow on me, but for now, I'm partial to the normal ones.

Because a few less pieces of plastic makes all the difference. And it's not like xbox cases are plastic bottles, they aren't thrown away as often. So it's completely pointless.

no....it doesn't.....get over it

Because if the plastic is softer it makes the disk inside more vulnerable, taking away from the point of a protective case. So my protective disk case not being able to fully protect the disk is a big inconvenience.

youre right, it wont 'solve the god damn hole in the ozone layer' but it does help, just a little. its a lil more eco friendly. so atleast theyre makin it SEEM like theyre doin something to help the environment. tbh, i dont think microsoft gives two shits and a fuck about the environment, but theyre pretty good actors/fakers so yea, theyll put on a show bout it.

but like everyone said, i dont see why this is such a big problem to you. okay, so your case isnt a full one. big whoop. its not AS durable, but tbh, how much pressure/force does ANYONE really put on the cases? unless you just dont gaf about your games/cases and toss em around, put shit on em, etc, you prolly take care of your games and so this minor inconvenience shouldnt be a problem at all..

just my two cents (a paragraph for each cent)

I get what they're trying to do, but it's stupid and pointless. And if my case happens to fall of my desk or something and my dog steps on it, i'd like to know that the disk wont be shattered because the case is a full case. I mean, it's the same thing as putting triangle cut outs in the console case to "save plastic". There's no reason for it.

I dont really like the new design but it also doesnt bother me/affect me any since i usually end up breakin my cases one way or another(steppin on them in the dark when i forget to put them on my shelf)

Looks okay to me. As long as the side stays the same...i dont want my rows of games to get fucked up by a different looking case. Kinda like what PS3 did to me....fuckers... lol

I was thinking that too. As long as everything on my shelf looks good, I'll probably be okay with it!

I am glad that I am not the only one with this line of thought.

agree with silent. think the old design looked better but does it make any difference? it wont affect my decision to buy a game. you could just wrap each game in a tortilla and I would still buy it/eat it.

i suddenly had a serious cravin for some taco bell (well, any mexican food tbh. but taco bell especially) after readin what you said about a tortilla. thanks a lot! god..and i cant drive to go get some food...ergg...
